Application
Tripropyleneglycol is a chemical raw material with promising applications, mainly used as a monomer for polyvinyl and polyurethane and as a solzil U, antifreeze or protective agent. In addition, 1,3-propanediol is also used as a synthesis of plasticizer, detergent, preservative, emulsifier, and as a component in products such as cosmetics, printer ink, detergent, stabilizer and fuel cell fuel to improve the performance of products. As intermediates in pharmaceutical and organic synthesis, tripropyleneglycol is used in food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Tripropyleneglycol is also used as an intermediate in the production of polyol polyesters and as a carbon chain extender, as well as in the preparation of other unsaturated polyesters, such as propyleneglycol polynaphthalate (PTN) and copolyester, and in the preparation of new polyurethane resins.
